I've stayed here on more than 1 occasion. My son and I love when we come visit and spend the night. Their newly remodeled rooms are very spacious and clean. It's the small details that make it very comfy like home. From the makeup remover wipes (which is very clever to provide to avoid ruining pillow cases and sheets) to the breakfast area that has so many choices for everyone. The indoor pool is also a plus and the staff has always been very courteous. I honestly wish there were more hotels like this one. Our experience here is always pleasant. My 3 yr old son always looks forward to staying here. There is not one week that he doesn't ask "mommy we going to Irish House today?"
Having family from Mount Sterling, I finally visited the Irish House Hotel. The place is friendly, clean, and very nice. I wish I had more time to enjoy the beautiful pool after the continental breakfast.
Hotel was renovating. Rooms and beds comfy. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if in area.
Very clean! Nice spacious rooms, continental breakfast had a variety of hot and cold drinks, hot and cold food item to choose from. The staff was so nice and sweet! Cathy the front desk clerk was such a sweetheart! Thank you for showing my family the best hotel stay! We would 100% stay here again!
Nothing fancy about Irish House, from the room to the breakfast bar to the pool. But that's just fine. Reservations simple with a phone call. Hotel was recently renovated. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Restaurants, coffee shop and the healthy downtown a bit more than a mile away. For a rural community especially, a good choice!
Quiet and certainly clean place to sleep. The front desk staff gave such great service. Told me where the restaurant delivery comes from. The pool was open, was really surprised, I couldn't take advantage, but I love that. I was moved to a room quickly where the heater worked best. I got my rental car dropped off at this location, no hassle to me at all. Great location. Thanks guys.
